Our Policies

Allergens & Dietary Restrictions 

It is the customer’s responsibility to declare any allergy or dietary restrictions that he, she, they, or any intended recipient(s) may have. This must occur during the initial submission of the order. Space is provided to make this declaration before placing your order through the website and/or should be declared directly to the owner in written format before the order is placed.

If the customer fails to declare an allergy and subsequently needs to cancel his/her/their order due to this failure after it has been confirmed, the Cancellation Policy will apply.

 

Cancellations & Rescheduling

If an order needs to be canceled, at least 72 hours before the order delivery date, the purchaser will only be refunded 50% of their order total. If the order is canceled within 72 hours of the delivery date, the purchaser will receive 50% of their order total in store credit. If the order is canceled within 24 hours of the delivery date, the purchaser will not receive a refund or store credit. Special cases will be handled at the discretion of the owner.

 

An order that requires shipping cannot be canceled or refunded once it has been shipped and is no longer in the possession of Elysse’s Elite Treats.

If an order needs to be rescheduled to a later date or time, the purchaser will not receive a refund or store credit if that order is subsequently canceled or rescheduled again.

 

Delivery

Local Delivery Only:

Elysse’s Elite Treats currently only offers Local Delivery and does not offer a Pick-Up option. This ensures that your order is delivered with the utmost care and arrives to you intact. A delivery fee of $7.50 is applied to all local delivery orders under $100.00. All orders over $100.00 qualify for free delivery.

Once the items contained within an order are handed over to the customer or recipient, they become the sole responsibility of the customer or recipient to manage, store, and transport properly to maintain the order’s integrity. Once the order is handed over or dropped off, Elysse’s Elite Treats is released of all liabilities, responsibilities, and damages resulting from mishandling, improper storage, or improper transport of an order. If the customer compromises an order’s integrity in any way, the bakery is under no obligation to provide any relief, monetary or otherwise.

 

The customer must disclose any adverse road hazards and/or obstacles that may hamper the delivery and quality of finished products. In the case of an unavoidable occurrence, such as an act of God, a car accident, poor road conditions, or dropping of the order during delivery - Elysse’s Elite Treats cannot be held liable for more than the price of the order.

 

If you are sending an order as a gift, please ensure that the recipient will be available to receive it. In the event the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, the purchaser will be contacted on next steps. If the purchaser cannot be contacted, the order will be forfeited, and the purchaser will not receive a refund or store credit.

If the purchaser requests that the order is left outside or with a different recipient, Elysse’s Elite Treats is not responsible for any damage, spoilage, or theft of that order once it has been dropped off. Due to our items being perishable, orders should not be left outside for extended periods of time.

Nationwide Shipping Only:

Elysse’s Elite Treats currently only offers flat rate shipping for Nationwide Shipping. A flat rate fee of $10.00 is applied to all nationwide shipping orders under $100.00. All orders over $100.00 qualify for free shipping.

 

Once the order has been dropped off at UPS, Elysse’s Elite Treats is released of all liabilities, responsibilities, and damages resulting from mishandling, improper storage, or improper transport of an order. If the customer compromises an order’s integrity in any way, the bakery is under no obligation to provide any relief, monetary or otherwise.

 

If you are sending an order as a gift, please ensure that the recipient will be available to receive it or notify them when their order has been marked as delivered.

 

Due to our items being perishable, orders should be tracked until their arrival and should not be left outside for extended periods of time, especially in harsh weather. Elysse’s Elite Treats is not responsible for any damage, spoilage, or theft of that order once it has been dropped off.

 

Design Variations

Elysse’s Elite Treats will not recreate product designs exactly as the original artist. The final product is subject to slight variations from the original work, but Elysse’s Elite Treats will always work diligently to provide you with a product suitable for your occasion. If a major variation needs to be made, Elysse’s Elite Treats will communicate this with the customer and discuss next steps.

 

Obligations 

Elysse’s Elite Treats takes our obligation to provide your products very seriously. However, should an unforeseeable event occur that prevents us from fulfilling our obligation and forces us to cancel our agreement with you, we will refund your payment in full.

 

Order Placing

Elysse’s Elite Treats is a made to order bakery. Orders placed for the same day or next day delivery are not guaranteed to be fulfilled as we may not have all the ingredients, supplies, and time to complete your order by the preferred delivery window. Orders that are to be fulfilled with less than 72 hours notice may be subject to a convenience/last minute fee up to triple the order total and will be handled on a case by case basis.

 

Orders will not be fulfilled until full payment has been received. Full payment must be received at least 72 hours before the order delivery date or immediately if an order is being fulfilled with less than 72 hours notice.

 

When you receive your invoice or arrive at the Checkout page on our website, please review your order to ensure everything is correct. By completing your payment, you acknowledge and agree that everything is accurate and complete.

 

By placing your order, you agree that you have read and understand our policies, terms, and conditions.

 

Elysse’s Elite Treats reserves the right to refuse an order for any reason and is not required to provide a reason to the person(s) who submitted it. If applicable, a full refund will be provided.

 

Photographs, Videos, & Other Media

Elysse’s Elite Treats reserves the right to take and use our own photos of products in your order to use them for marketing and promotional purposes without compensation to you. All pictures that we are tagged in or posted to our social media pages are subject to the same terms.

 

All images captured by Elysse’s Elite Treats of the product of the customer’s order are the sole property of the bakery. These images are not for sale.

 

If a customer’s order is photographed and utilized for marketing and/or promotional purposes, Elysse’s Elite Treats is under no obligation to assign credit to that customer.

 

Product Quality 

Elysse’s Elite Treats takes immense pride in the quality of products we produce. Although we make every effort to maintain that quality, sometimes unforeseen circumstances can prevent that. If you deem a product sub-par and seek to rectify it, please contact us. We require that you have the product available for our examination. This allows us to do our due diligence in the claim. If it is determined that something did go wrong in the manufacturing process, we can choose to replace the item or give credit for a future purchase. It is your responsibility to retain the item for examination. If no product is returned for examination, no matter the reason, no compensation will be offered. All product quality disputes must be made within one day of delivery.

 

Refunds 

Elysse’s Elite Treats requires a 50% non-refundable deposit for all orders at the time of placing your order or included in the full price paid when your order is placed. If an order needs to be canceled, the purchaser will only be refunded 50% of their order total if it is canceled at least 72 hours before the order delivery date. If the order is canceled within 72 hours of the delivery date, the purchaser will receive 50% of their order total in store credit. If the order is canceled within 24 hours of the delivery date, the purchaser will not receive a refund or store credit. Special cases will be handled at the discretion of the owner.

 

Store credit is valid for 180 calendar days, after which, if unused, the credit expires and is forfeited in its entirety to the bakery. If the credit granted towards a future order exceeds the value of the future order, the remaining balance remains non-refundable and will be forfeited to the bakery. If the credit granted towards a future order does not exceed the value of the future order, the purchaser is required to pay the remaining balance.

 

It is well known that personal preference for how an item tastes, its texture, moisture content, etc., varies widely among human beings. Therefore, if a customer is dissatisfied with an order for a reason that is considered to be "personal preference", they may not request a refund.

 

If a customer believes that the bakery did not fulfill an order as requested, they must provide a written request (via email to [email protected]) explaining their reasons. Photographs/Videos of the items purchased AND of the items’ original packaging, are required as evidence in conjunction with an explanation of how the customer believes the bakery failed to fulfill an order as requested. Failure to provide photographs/videos will automatically cancel a customer's dispute and no subsequent disputes may be submitted. The bakery will review the request, conduct an investigation, and determine the best course of action. A written explanation of the bakery's decision will be communicated to the customer within 3-5 business days.

 

For orders that are to be shipped, the order cannot be canceled or refunded once it has been shipped and is no longer in the possession of Elysse’s Elite Treats.

 

Right to Refuse Service 

If any customer becomes disrespectful, irate, disruptive, or violent, Elysse’s Elite Treats reserves the right to refuse service to that customer and the rest of their party. Cursing and yelling is not tolerated in person or by phone. If any of the aforementioned occurs, Elysse’s Elite Treats revokes the right to be of service to said customer and anyone in their party.
